BRIEF

  • To supply promotional staff  to work on behalf of Tillman’s Toast Me!

  • A Road Show was conducted to visit selected Tesco stores nationwide, supporting a national TV advertising campaign.

  • The aim of the activity is to increase brand awareness by distributing samples of Toast Me to Tesco customers.

  • All customers to be approached and encouraged to enter a competition to win 1 of 5 Hunger Monster bikes.

Execution

  • Contact FM&S staff  promoted brand awareness of the new Toast Me! snack food  launch and to bring an element of fun to the activity.

  • Over 31 days the fully branded snack wagon visited  Tesco Extra stores.

  • An event manager and 3 brand ambassadors were specially selected from Contact FM&S’ core team.

  • Each brand ambassador interacted with all customers visiting the store, offer a sample of Toast Me! and encouraged them to enter the competition.

  • Contact FM&S staff had sheets of stickers, Hunger Monster rulers and flyers to offer to parents/kids.

results

  • Overall the campaign has been a great success, achieving 100% coverage.

  • The success of this campaign is down to the tenacity of the head office team and the determination of the brand ambassadors who created a great deal of interest in the Toast Me! brand.

  • The event manager overcame any challenges by instructing the staff  to focus on brand awareness and the competition. 

  • The campaign results have proven that there is a good level of demand and interest in the Toast Me! range.
