BRIEF

  • Following an online social media marketing campaign offering samples of Bad Boy aftershave,  Starcom UK engaged CFM&S to undertake the task of cleansing data, packing and distributing over 5,000 vials of Carolina Herrera Bad Boy aftershave to valid address in the UK.

Execution

  • Encrypted files containing personal data were sent to CFM&S, followed by passwords to open each file.  The data in each file needed to be cleansed to ensure addresses were valid, emails were correct and most importantly, that duplicate requests were investigated.

  • Bad Boy samples were received into our distribution centre. Working with the client eye catching Bad Boy branded pillow packs were designed and produced.

  • Packers were instructed to pack the samples to match the data received.  Bespoke pillow packs were labelled and distributed across the UK using Post Office Business services.

results

  • All samples were successfully distributed on behalf of our client and recipients shared their reviews on social media.  The cleansed data was then returned to the client via encrypted files which they could use for future marketing activity.

  • CFM&S went on to manage further digital marketing sampling campaigns on behalf of Starcom.
