Classic Signs (Rowan Stickers) produce a range of stickers for wheelie bins, door and gates etc and currently have racks of some of their lines in Home Bargains, Poundstretcher and Poundland stores nationwide.
The task was to visit each estate, install and merchandise new racks. Also to check existing racks for out of stocks, damages etc and also merchandise these racks back to planogram.
The client required photos of each rack in store along with a replenishment order where necessary.
The first estate to be visited was Home Bargains, where 1 large rack holding 24 designs of sign shack stickers and 5 designs of wheelie bin large stickers was to be installed. Staff were under strict instructions that the rack must be securely fastened to the end trunking framework of an aisle with support hooks and cable ties. This was extremely important to guarantee health and safety measures were adhered to.
A very comprehensive brief was produced and sent out to all selected merchandisers along with supporting photographs and help tips to ensure complete compliance was reached in every store.
The reporting app was set up to include all photographs and feedback requirements so that the client would be able to view calls as they were completed.
New racks and stock were sent direct to each store with clear labelling that our merchandisers would be visiting within 7 days to install and merchandise.
Altogether, 1625 stores were visited and approx. 3511 racks were installed and merchandised. The client has reported a significant uplift in sales since our visits.
Client was given access to the reporting portal where they could view each call as it was completed in real time, the CFM account manager was also checking the portal as photos came in and any errors or problems where addressed while the merchandiser was still in store.
