BRIEF

  • New Dunelm stores were now stocking 3 models of the new Nutri-Ninja Blenders. Promotional point of sale had been created for them to complement the in-store displays and raise brand awareness.
  • Euro Pro were wary of sending the Point of sale materials directly to the stores as historically it’s likely that an unacceptably high percentage would not be sited by store staff. Euro Pro/Nutri-Ninja engaged the services of Contact Field Marketing to walk the POS into Dunelm Stores nationwide..
  • After discussing the campaign requirements with Euro Pro, it was agreed that the POS and dummy models of the Nutri- Ninja Blenders would be dispatched directly to our field staff.

Execution

  • Field marketing teams visited each store and walked in the POS and dummy models. The POS was sited on the appropriate gondola and merchandised with the dummy models and re-stocked to planogram.
  • Information was gathered on stock levels and competitor activity. This was essential as at the time of the visits Dunelm stores were offering promotional prices for blenders during the seasonal sale so any low stock stores needed restocking to ensure sustained sales. All in-store activity was supported by feedback and images.

results

  • Within 48 hours of the Merchandiser receiving the POS and display blenders all Dunelm stores had been visited.  Stock was merchandised and POS was sited in a prominent position, stock levels were checked. Our client was able to view feedback and images in real time via our dedicated client portal.
  • Euro Pro were happy with the quick turnaround of the campaign and sales increased before the seasonal sale ended, thanks to the support of the eye-catching point of sale materials placed during the campaign.
